RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE GRAND MOBILE PHOTO CONTEST
1 GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. Press spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością spółka komandytowa [Press limited liability company limited partnership], registered in Poznań, ul. J.H. Dąbrowskiego 75/66 (60-523 Poznań), KRS National Court Registry entry 316953, NIP tax identification number: 779-17-44-917, REGON business identification number: 630944696 (henceforth referred to as ‘the Organizer’) announces the contest GRAND MOBILE PHOTO (henceforth referred to as the ‘Contest’) for the best photographs taken with mobile devices.
1.2. Participants of the Contest shall be over 16: amateurs, freelancers or professionals involved in photography.
1.3. Every participant, by entering the Contest, agrees to the provisions of these Rules and Regulations and shall comply with them.
2 PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST
2.1. The Jury shall award the photographs submitted as being the best based on their high aesthetic value, good composition, visual attractiveness and high technical quality, whose content is compliant with the category in which they are evaluated.
2.2. Only photographs taken between 1st October 2021 and 30th September 2022 may be submitted to the Contest.
2.3. Photographs may be submitted in 13 contest categories.

2.4. The Organizer shall have the right to create additional categories, including special and sponsored ones.
2.5. The Organizer shall have the right to exclude from the Contest any application which violates these Rules and Regulations or provisions of Polish common law or generally accepted social norms and customs, in particular of a racist, sexist, or pornographic nature.
3 APPLICATIONS
3.1. Only the author of the photos shall submit them for the Contest.
3.2. The Contest fee is required for successful application.
3.3. Photographs shall be submitted in the following packages:
– 1 photo – PLN 25 fee
– 3 photos – PLN 48 fee
– 5 photos – PLN 75 fee
3.4 One author may purchase any number of packages.
3.5. To enter the Contest, follow these steps:
a) fill in the application form available at: https://www.grandmobilephoto.com/
b) confirm the application by clicking on the link in the email received from the Organizer.
c) transfer the Contest fee for the selected package in the PayU system (the Applicant shall be redirected to it automatically after clicking the link confirming the application).
d) upon transferring the fee, the Applicant shall receive an email message with a link to the panel for uploading the photos.
e) after uploading the photos, their selection shall be confirmed. After the photos are confirmed, they cannot be deleted from the panel.
3.6. In the process of application verification, only those which are correctly filled in and paid for shall be considered.
3.7. The Organizer reserves the right to make the final decision on whether or not to admit material to the Contest.
3.8. Every photograph submitted in accordance with the Rules and Regulations, in the single photo and photo story categories, will be included in the voting for the Internet User’s Choice Award.
3.9. All correctly submitted photos shall be published on the Contest website.
3.10. In the case of failure to upload photos or the Organizer rejecting them due to their non-compliance with these Rules and Regulations, the Organizer shall not return the previously transferred Contest fee to the Applicant.
3.11. Applications shall be accepted between 11th February 2022 and 30th September 2022, up to 23:59 (11:59 pm) CET. The Organizer reserves the right to modify these deadlines.
3.12. Submitting a piece of work to the Contest is tantamount to:
a) a statement that the submitted photo does not infringe the rights of third parties and that the dissemination of the work shall not lead to an infringement of the rights of the persons depicted in the image;
b) granting the Organizer of the Contest consent to multiple, unrestricted by territory or time and free of charge use, in total and in selected parts of the Contest work (application) by the Organizer and its affiliated companies in all fields of exploitation (non-exclusive licence agreement)
– in activities related to the promotion and documentation of Grand Mobile Photo contest and, in particular, the issuing (publishing) and dissemination in the form of audio, video, in print and in the Internet, and recording and copying on any existing storage medium (memory card, CD, DVD, paper, etc.).
3.14. The author of the photo, by submitting the application to the Contest, declares that he/she has the right to disseminate the submitted photograph and to grant the Organizer the consent referred to in § 3 Section 3.8. of the Rules and Regulations and that any required by law consent to use the submitted materials has been granted by the competent persons (in particular the consent to disseminate the image of persons).
3.15. Should the statements referred to in §3 sections 3.8 and 3.9 prove to be untrue, the author who expressed his/her consent to participate in the Contest and submitted the above-mentioned statements, in the event of possible claims by third parties, shall bear sole and exclusive responsibility and shall make good any damage connected to this fact and release the Organizer from any third-party claims. Moreover, the participant of the Contest shall be disqualified, and in the case of receiving a prize shall return it immediately to the Organizer.
3.16. Rules of submitting applications are the same for all the participants of the Contest in every category.
4 PHOTO TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
4.1 Every photograph submitted for the Contest shall be accepted exclusively in a digital form.
4.2. Photographs submitted to the Contest shall have the resolution of minimum 1,000 px for the shorter side but they cannot exceed 15 MB.
4.3 Photographs shall be submitted in the following formats: .jpg or .png
4.4. Photographs shall be taken with a mobile device – a smarthopne or a tablet.
4.5. Photos and applications failing to fulfil the above-mentioned requirements shall be disqualified.
5 JURY
5.1. The international Jury composed of outstanding professionals in the domain of photography, photo editing, lecturers in photography, curators of photo exhibitions, graphic designers, etc. shall indicate the nominated and award-winning photos in respective categories.
5.2. In every main category, the Jury may indicate 10 photographs nominated for the prize.
In cases justified by the number of applications or their level, the Jury may waiver nominations for a prize in a given category or, despite nominations, refuse to grant the award.
5.3. The Jury has the right to:
a) transfer the material to another category than the one submitted;
b) exclude from the Contest any submitted material that raises ethical or legal questions;
c) exclude from the Contest any submitted material with technical defects.
5.4. The outcome of deliberations shall be subject to secrecy until the moment of the ceremonious announcement of the final verdict.
6 PRIZES
6.1. The winner of the Grand Prix Grand Mobile Photo shall receive a prize in the amount of EUR 3,000, less the 10% tax due in Poland on prizes.
6.2. A prize in the amount of EUR 500, less the 10% tax due in Poland on prizes, shall be awarded in every main category.
6.3. The winner of the Internet Users’ Choice Prize shall be granted a prize in the amount of EUR 2,000, less the 10% tax due in Poland on prizes.
6.4. The Internet Users’ Choice Prize shall be granted to a photo which will receive the highest number of votes on the Contest internet site.
a) Internet Users may vote for all submitted materials in all categories.
b) Every person over 16 years of age has the right to vote.
c) The date of the commencement and duration of voting shall be posted on the website of the Contest.
d) If the Organizer becomes convinced that the voting in the contest for the Internet Users’ Choice Prize was not compliant to the Rules and Regulations, or that the voting results were manipulated by the voters, the Organizer shall have the right to award the prize to the second best nominee or subsequent materials with the highest number of votes. Moreover, the Organizer may decide not to award the Internet Users’ Choice Prize in a given category of the Contest.
6.5. The date and place of announcing the winners in all categories shall be determined by the Organizer and made public on the Contest website.
7 PERSONAL DATA
7.1. The controller of personal data processed in connection with the realisation of the Contest is Press spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością spółka komandytowa [Press limited liability company limited partnership], registered in Poznań (60-523), ul. J.H. Dąbrowskiego 75/66, the Organizer of the Contest.
7.2. In order to hold the Contest, personal data are processed in accordance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27.04.2016 and compliant to the rules described in these Rules and Regulations.
Voluntary consent granted by the participant constitutes the legal basis for processing personal data. The consent is necessary for taking part in the Contest and for voting for the Internet Users’ Choice Prize. The participant grants his or her consent for processing personal data by filling in the form of application for the Contest or by casting a vote for the Internet Users’ Choice Prize.
7.3. The personal data of the participants are processed by the Organizer in order to hold the Contest, i.e in order to accept the applications and fees for them, handing over the prizes, the handling of any complaints, making public (the Contest’s website, media) the names and surnames of the Winners, performing all necessary legal obligations of the Organizer and email communication which may contain the Organizers’ marketing and trading materials.
The personal data of persons voting for the Internet Users’ Choice Prize shall be processed by the Organizer in order to hold the voting for the Internet Users’ Choice Prize, i.e. to select the winner, invite selected persons to the gala, and any email communication which may contain the Organizers’ marketing and trading materials.
7.4. Consent to the processing of personal data may be withdrawn at any time. Should the participant of the Contest withdraw their consent for processing personal data in order to hold the Contest, his or her data shall be erased and he or she shall not be able to participate further in the Contest. Any withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before its withdrawal.
7.5. Every participant has the following rights:
a) access to the provided personal data;
b) right to request to amend, rectify, erase or restrict the processing of the personal data provided;
c) object to the processing of personal data;
d) request the transfer of personal data to another controller;
e) to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data;
f) to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if the participant considers that his or her personal data are being processed in breach of the law.
7.6. Personal data may be transferred by the Controller to other entities only in order to perform the Contest Organizer’s duties resulting from the Rules and Regulations and provisions of the law, e.g. to IT, postal, accountancy services providers.

FINAL PROVISIONS
The Organizer’s employees and members of their families shall not participate in the Contest. Members of the Organizer employees’ families mentioned above shall be understood as: children, parents, legal guardians, siblings, grandparents, spouses, parents of spouses, siblings of spouses and persons in an adoptive relationship with an employee of the Organiser.
The Organiser shall not be responsible for any infringement of third-party rights resulting in relation to the use of the submitted materials, unless the infringement is the fault of the Organiser.
The Organizer reserves the right to amend the provisions of the Rules and Regulations on the condition that such an amendment does not infringe the rights acquired by the Contest participants. The amended Rules and Regulations are binding from the moment of their publication.
The Organizer shall provide information regarding any amendments on the official website.
These Rules and Regulations shall be available on the website and in the paper version at the headquarters of the Organizer. Any questions related to the interpretation of the Rules and Regulations shall be addressed by email to [email protected]
